NEOM Sindalah Island

The Challenge

NEOM is a project that's very close to nature, a project where they aim to use 100% renewable energy. Where one feels nature again in the habitat. The brief was to install an interactive light that responds to gestures, moments of guests, and moods. The challenge for the team was to design in a way that the light pillars do not detract from the project's beauty during daylight. A permanent light installation solution for a NEOM in Sindalah Island, which is a part of architecture, in the waterfront, and lights up in the dark.

The Concept & Tech

To give it a natural feeling, we installed immersive facade light pillars in the exterior of the project facing the water. Facade lighting is filled with a variety of features, such as motion sensors, reacting to different gestures, and seasonal themes were also installed. We ensured that the overall design is not disrupted by such an installation, allowing one to change the theme according to special occasions & seasons, and regular days. Rayqube made the front of NEOM look like a canvas indeed.
